WEEK 5: Macro Chart - Noah

This week for our game me and my teammate created a macro chart to finalize goals, game length and what we wanted to achieve for our game. For the macro chart, we decided on having a total of 4 levels; 3 regular battles on increasingly difficult foes then 1 final boss to test the player's skills. We set out what we wanted to achieve for each level in terms of player goals, design goals and emotional beat. We also decided to add a small tutorial section for the player to learn the controls. After completing our macro chart and goals for the game set in stone with a clear view of what we wanted to do I was able to make some decent progress with the game itself. After establishing that we wanted to create levels for our game, instead of the initial idea of creating a roguelike styled game, allowed me to focus on the battle system refining it and blending both the rhythm game system and battle system.
